An archival exhibition on Vietnam-Cuba co-operative relations was co-organised at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi from May 5-6 by the State Archives Department and the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam.
More than 400 exhibits were displayed, vividly depicting the history of friendship, solidarity and comprehensive co-operation between the governments and peoples of Vietnam and Cuba over the past 45 years.
The exhibition also introduced a book from 1964 contains the signatures of Cuban people voicing their support for Vietnamese people’s struggle for independence and national reunification.
Other exhibits include a short gun Cuban President Fidel Castro presented to the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam in 1973, and a sword the President of the Cuban National Committee presented to President Ho Chi Minh in 1968.
