Exhibition explores Indigenous Australian identity

(VOV) -An exhibition entitled “Message Stick: Indigenous Identity in Urban Australia” opened at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum on May 24.
The exhibition features 21 mixed media paintings expressing the thoughts, stories, and opinions of 11 leading Indigenous Australian artists over the past 25 years.
Anna Elizabeth Burke, the Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives, said the event intends to honour the diversity of Australian Aboriginal culture, one of the world’s most ancient.
The exhibition has toured internationally since 2011, earning considerable acclaim and support.
