To give the younger generations an opportunity to learn about President Ho Chi Minh, the youth union in Ho Chi Minh City on May 14 opened an exhibition of 50 photographs, letters and documentary films related to his life and revolutionary cause.

The weeklong exhibition at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House is part of the city’s activities to celebrate the 118th birthday of President Ho on May 19, and the 97th anniversary of his first trip abroad to find the way to national salvation.

The exhibition, titled Learn and Follow Ho Chi Minh’s Example, is also part of a nationwide campaign to encourage youths to follow in the footsteps of President Ho.

Also on display are some 50 posters of the leader and 50 pictures of youths practicing his precepts, painted by both amateur and professional painters, as well as articles about President Ho and films on his revolutionary cause.
