This is the new production of the Festival, an impressive musical event in Vietnam.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with the European Commission Delegation in Vietnam and seven European Embassies of Denmark, Wallpnia-Brussels (Belgium), France, Argentina, Luxembourg, Germany and Bulgaria to organize the festival.
The aim is to promote cultural exhanges among Vietnamese people and introduce modern European music to Vietnamese audiences.
Among participants will be famous bands over the world such as Moi Caprice rock band (Denmark), Vert (Germany), Trio Grande trio (Wallonia Brussels-Belgium), jazz Quintet Largo (Luxembourg), Pierrick Perdon and a quartet (France), Sweet Suisie (Argentina), and pop singer Roberta (Bulgaria).
On the sidelines of the festival, European jazz bands will take part in a concert with Vietnamese bands in Hanoi Jazz Club at 31 Luong Van Can street at 10pm on November 24, 28 and 29, 2007.
Moreover, an electronic music party in Hanoi with leading DJs from Germany, Argentina, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and host Vietnam will be held. They will meet to exchange music ideas, play melodies never performed before and attract audiences into an sudden inspirational music world. This music party will take place in Van Ho Exhibition Hall at 2 Hoa Lu street, Hanoi from 6pm to 10pm on December 1.
