Eddie Adams was a famous photojournalist, best known for his portraits of politicians and his coverage of 13 wars, including the America war in Vietnam.

The centerpiece of the book is the world renowned photo of police chief of the former Saigon regime General Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing a prisoner in Saigon on February 1, 1968, that Adams took while covering the Vietnam War for the Associated Press.

The photograph led to Adams winning the 1969 Pulitzer Prize for Spot News Photography and a World Press Photo award.

The book also includes photos that helped him win over 500 awards from the US and many international organisations throughout his 45 year career.
