The “Trans-Vietnam path” delegation led by East Asia Bank came to central Da Nang city on June 19 to continue their charity work.

During the visit, the delegation donated VND20 million to build a house for the martyr’s family of Tran Thi Long in Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district.

The delegation also presented 10 scholarships worth VND5 million to poor but talented students in Thanh Khe district and another VND5 million to Da Nang Orphanage.

The VND800-million trans-Vietnam path, starting from southern Binh Thuan province to Hanoi, aims to carry out social charity activities, and the delegation visited sites where late President Ho Chi Minh used to live and work, in order to inform the bank staff about President Ho’s thinking and morals.
