The Vietnamese film “Don’t burn” will be shown at Viethaus in Berlin, Germany on August 22.
After watching the film, audiences will have an exchange with Film Director Dang Nhat Minh.
Produced in 2008, the film portrays the life of heroic army doctor Dang Thuy Tram in line with her diary on the Quang Ngai battlefield during the war she had served wholeheartedly until she was killed at the age of 27.
In 2009, the film won the Gold Lotus award and was selected as the best at the Fukuoka International Film Festival in Japan.
“Don’t burn” has been screened at 14 universities in the US.
