Archaeologists have found 15 ancient tombs and many artifacts belonging to the Dong Son culture, dating back 2,300 years, in Den hamlet and Ca village in Viet Tri City, northern Phu Tho province.

These artifacts include bronze axes, spearheads, jewelry and ceramic vases, featuring various decorative patterns.

They also found many pottery pieces believed to date back 3,300-3,700 years.

The Dong Son culture, which culminated in the Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age, represented the peak of Vietnam’s ancient civilisation.
