The French Culture Centre L'Espace screened a famous documentary film by director William Karel to begin its sixth documentary film month in Hanoi on November 6.

The "Dark Side of the Moon" (Opération Lune) by the French director took part in the Lussac Documentary Film 2003 and won the honorary award at the Biarritz International Festival of Audiovisual Programming (FIPA) in 2004.

In its sixth documentary film month, which will last until November 23, L’Espace will also screen films that have made a strong impression on the audience at the Marseille International Documentary Film Festival (FID Marseille) in 2006.

The no-admission-charge event aims to help movie goers in Hanoi discover new documentary films shown at the 2006 FID Marseille and promote films that had been shot based on the diversifying contemporary reality in many countries throughout the world.
