The books, written in Thai language, were introduced to overseas Vietnamese in Thailand at a get-together in Bangkok on May 8 to celebrate the 55^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7).

Prida Panomyong, author of the book about Vietnam’s talented General Giap, said this is the second book he writes about Vietnamese famous people following the first one about President Ho.

He hoped these books would help Thai people to have a better understanding of Vietnam’s history and people.
