The “Vietnam Book Prizes” organising committee has decided to confer special prizes on two books, “Dang Thuy Tram diary” and “Forever the age of 20”, announced Phan Khac Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Books Publishing, Printing and Issuing Association at the press briefing on May 24.
The event is a worthy honour for the diaries by the two war martyrs, who heroically laid down their lives in the nation’s resistance war against the US imperialists. The release of the books had a strong impact on the public, resulting in a remarkable phenomenon in the publishing sector.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Hanoi Opera House at 7:30 pm on May 28.
