The establishment of the fund will be signed by Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Peter Lysholt Hansen and Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Tran Chien Thang in Hanoi on December 30.

The 2-million Krona fund will operate for five years to help Vietnamese artists and ethnic minorities preserve traditional cultural values.

This is part of the Danish Government's commitment under the bilateral cultural co-operation programme for the 2006-2010 period.
