The Mondadori Publishing House in Italy has released "That night I dreamt of peace: the Diary of a female Vietnamese Communist physician, 1968-1970” in Italian language.

The diary was translated by Maria Cristina Bitti from the English version released by overseas Vietnamese journalist Andrew Pham.

The 206-page book introduces Dang Thuy Tram as a 24-year-old physician serving on the southern battlefield during the Viet Nam War for two years from 1968-1970 until she was killed by the US troops.

The diary is a vivid proof of the war in which a young girl lived and struggled in one of the fiercest wars in the 20th century. It is full of hope and love for life.

Earlier, the diary of Dang Thuy Tram was published in Romania, the Republic of Korea and the US.
