A team from Da Nang’s Polytechnic University successfully beat all rivals to become champions of the Robocon Vietnam 2007 at the final round of a national robot contest, which was held in Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi on June 10.

Despite being a mere novice, Robocon Da Nang’s Bach Khoa University defeated experienced rivals such as Hanoi Polytechnic University, Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic University and the Academy of Military Technology with 35 marks.


The first runners-up were DT03 from the Hanoi Industrial University and second runners-up were jointly BKBamboo team from the Hanoi Polytechnic University and MTA-SunPac team from the Academy of Military Technology.


In addition, the organising board presented six prizes to the participating teams. These included a fair play prize to BKBamboo team, two technological prizes to BKTech team from the Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic University and HV2I team from the Academy of Military Technology. The best technological solution prize went to MTA-SunPac team from the Academy of Military Technology and an idea prize was awarded to BK Dragon team from the Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic University and a handmade robot prize to FAM team from the Academy of Military Technology.
