The opening ceremony of the festival will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television, said the Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Kim Hai, at a press briefing about the festival’s cultural and sports activities in Hanoi on December 26.

Other major festival activities will be held in Viet Tri city until the 10th day of the third month of the lunar calendar.

Meanwhile, the death anniversary of Hung Kings will be organised from the 6th to 10th day of the third month of the lunar new year.

Other districts in Phu Tho, including Ha Hoa, Yen Lap, Tam Nong, Lam Thao, Cam Khe, Thanh Son, Thanh Thuy, Doan Hung and Phu Ninh, will also launch their own festivals with diverse activities, contests and traditional games.
