With the theme of “Solidarity for the Development and Preservation of Traditional Cultural Identity”, the festival opened at the Exhibition and Fair Centre in the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho on August 12.
The festival has attracted artists from the Kinh, Khmer and Cham ethnic groups living in Can Tho City and An Giang Province to give traditional art performances.
The festival is part of activities marking the National Tourism Year and the closing of the international trade fair on the evening of August 13 in Can Tho City.
