The third cuisine festival of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) will be held in Hanoi on November 27-28.

The festival aims to celebrate the 18th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

“Bun cha” (rice noodle with grilled meat) and “nem” (spring rolls) will be the main dishes of Vietnamese food at the festival, while “kimbap” and “kimchi” will be the special ones of the RoK.

Besides food, traditional folk games, fine arts and handicrafts of the two countries will be introduced at the festival.

The organising board of the festival will also sell food and hold a lottery to raise funds for children with heart disease and flood victims in central Vietnam.
