30 candidates competed in swimwear, traditional and evening dress events and 20 were selected to enter the final round which will be held at the same tourist and resort site in Nha Trang on May 31.

The organising board will award supplementary prizes in the categories of Miss Beach, Miss Talent, Miss Charming, and Miss Photogenic.

The winner of the final round will represent Vietnam to attend the Miss Universe 2008 pageant which will take place in Nha Trang city in June.
