A concert was held at the Opera House in Hanoi on January 30 to mark 60 years of Vietnamese-Hungarian friendship.

The programme included Les Preludes and Hungarian Fantasia by Franz Lisxt, Peregi Werbunk by Leo Wiener and Larghetto and Carmen Fantazia by Jeno Hubay, which were displayed by the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian artists under Japanese conductor Tetsuji Honna.

Tieng Hat Song Huong (Singing on the Huong river) was also performed by Vietnamese artist Hoang Duong and cellist Ngo Hoang Quan.

The programme was co-organised by the Hungarian Embassy in Vietnam, the Fund for Hungarian and Vietnamese Culture, and the Vietnam-Hungary Friendship Association.
