The first ever set of complete works of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) was made public in Hanoi on September 25 by the National Politics Publishing House.
The 54-volume set covers all the documents issued by the Party’s forerunner organisations and the Communist Party of Vietnam from 1924 to 1995.
Volume 1 began with President Ho Chi Minh’s speech at the fifth Congress of the Communist International and his work The Revolutionary Path. Volume 54 features documents for the seventh Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, marking the start of the process of national industrialisation and modernisation.
The volumes, including other speeches and articles by President Ho Chi Minh and other Party leaders, aim to provide an insight into the CPV’s revolutionary essence and its role in the nation’s history.
