The competition is aimed at highlighting the impacts of climate change on Vietnam, plus suggestions for solutions to these problems, and both positive and negative acts of environmental protection.

The organisers hope to improve public awareness of environmental matters and to encourage people from all walks of life to join forces in protecting the environment and reducing the impacts of climate change.

Entries can be in black and white or colour and must have been taken between 2005 and now.

The deadline for entries is February 16, 2009 and the winners will be announced later the same month.
