Chinese talented violinist Tang Yun will perform with the Vietnamese Symphony Orchestra in Hanoi on April 7-8 and 17-18.

The Vietnamese audience has known about the Chinese talent through a highly acclaimed Chinese film - Together. The theme of the movie, directed by Kaige Chen, mirrors Tang Yun's real life as he started learning the instrument from his father when he was only four.

By the time he was nine, Yun had been accepted into Grammar School of Shanghai Music Academy where he graduated with honours in 2000.

In 2004, Yun, teaming up with the Vietnamese Symphony Orchestra, enchanted devotees of music with classical works of China, Russia and Vietnam at the Opera House in Hanoi.

On this occasion, film buffs will have a chance to enjoy the movie Together at Hanoi Cinema Club from April 1-18.
