China’s Lungchou district in Guangxi province has spent roughly US$356,000 researching and collecting relics about Vietnam’s first President Ho Chi Minh.
Unveiled at a symposium on May 8 to celebrate Ho Chi Minh’s 118th birth anniversary (May 19), is a large collection of relics of the Great President of Vietnam in China.
The 2005-07 project also found about 60 families in 30 villages from Lungchou, Tahsia and Liuchou districts that had assisted Ho Chi Minh.
The symposium attracted around 100 researchers and cultural experts from Vietnam and China.
