The China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe will be present in Hanoi during the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam-China diplomatic ties and Chinese Culture Minister Tai Wu’s four-day visit beginning on December 1.
The troupe’s performance at the Hanoi Opera House on December 2 will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
Founded in 1987, the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe is well-known for its dances "Thousand-hand Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" and "My Dream".
The troupe has been honoured as the “Messenger of Beauty and Humanity” by the international community and designated as “Image Ambassadors for 600 million people with disabilities in the world” by the Disabled People’s International Sixth World Assembly and “Artist for Peace” by UNESCO.
