The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and the Museum of Can Tho will co-sponsor an exhibition on 100 years of weddings in Vietnam to mark Vietnam’s Southern Liberation Day (April 30).
The exhibition will give people living in the Mekong Delta an opportunity to see the variety of rituals and costumes in Vietnamese weddings, and changes over the last 100 years.
The museums hopes the public will contribute their own memorabilia and photographs to a future exhibition entitled “The Sharing of Wedding Images in the 20th Century”.
