An art troupe from the Kingdom of Cambodia gave a special performance on June 30 in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang, where many Khmer ethnic people reside.

35 artists from the troupe presented various traditional dance styles such as Apsara, Chhaiyaim, and Kuoy. They also sang some songs in both Vietnamese and Khmer, praising Vietnamese-Cambodian solidarity.

The art programme was co-organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture and Information and its Cambodian counterpart from June 25-30 to mark the 40th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations.
