•  Miss Vietnam 2012 helps flood victims in Thanh Hoa

The student of the Hanoi University of Industry won the title at a September 28 pageant, which was held in Tuyen Quang northern mountainous province as part of the 8th Northeastern Region Ethnic Minority Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival.

Twenty-two finalists competed in Ao dai (traditional long dress), bikini and evening gown shows during the last round of the contest.

The top five beauties then continued with the Q&A session to determine the three winners.

First runner-up was Ma Thi Diep, a student in Thai Nguyen University while Tran Thi Trang Anh, from the Academy of Journalism and Communication was named second runner-up.

The best contestant in the Q&A was Ma Thi Diep and Pham Dieu Linh won the best Ao dai award.

Bui Thi Cam Ly was also given the Best Face award, Truong Thu Trang won Best Bikini and Tran Thi Trang Anh took home the Best Evening Gown award.
