The border friendship tourism festival 2006 opened on December 23 in the northern province of Cao Bang with the participation of local tourism companies and those from China's Guangxi province.
The two-day festival aims to promote tourism cooperation and exchanges between the two provinces. This is the first trade and tourism promotion ever taking place in the provinces to welcome
The festival features traditional cultural performances from the Cao Bang arts troupe and Guangxi arts troupe. The festival also includes sight-seeing tours and exchanges between tourism enterprises of Cao Bang and Guangxi provinces to seek for business opportunities.
