A book featuring photos and data on the Vietnam-Russia relationship was introduced in Hanoi on November 27.

Published in Moscow to mark the 50th anniversary of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association (RVFA), the book, entitled “Russia and Vietnam: Friendship Withstands the Test of Time”, captures images of the land and people of Vietnam and Russia.

The book also provides legal documents relating to the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

On the occasion, the RVFA presented medals and certificates of merit to former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, RVFA President Vladimir Buyanov and Director of the Scientific and Cultural Centre, Alexey Yurevich Lavrenev, in Hanoi for their contributions to boosting bilateral friendship.

Established in 1958, the RVFA has actively contributed to developing the traditional friendship between Russia and Vietnam. Its members include Russian people who have lived, studied and worked in Vietnam as well as those who have great love for the Vietnamese country and people.
