An exhibition of more than 100 black and white photos opened in Hanoi on August 23 to reproduce the image of Hanoi during the resistance wars against the French colonists and American imperialists.
In the spotlight are valuable documents on late President Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State leaders as well as many photos of Hanoi and its citizens in the Doi Moi (Renewal) process.
Nguyen Duc Loi, deputy director of the Vietnam News Agency, said the event is part of the activities to mark the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi. The exhibition will run until August 29.
