The 70-minute event is in three parts: Important Decision, A Thousand Year Old City and Ho Chi Minh Ara-A Message From the City for Peace.

More than 7,000 people will join in the programme, whom are from the University of Sports in Tu Son, Bac Ninh. They will perform simultaneously on three different stages.

200 artists in costumes from the Au Lac era will beat sets of bronze drums.

100 models wearing Ao dai (traditional long dress) will perform with ancient Hanoi in the background and a 110 member chorus will sing the song about Thang Long-Hanoi youths.

100 dancers from the Big Toe dance troupe will also join in the programme along with famous singers including Mai Hoa, Manh Chung, My Linh and Vanh Khuyen.
