The FPT Group has pledged to grant VND100 million to Vietnamese team that qualifies for the final round to stand among the Top 10 of the 33^rd Annual Association for Computing Machinery International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC 2008) for the Asia Region.

The contest - the world’s largest computer programming competition for students - will take place at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology from November 22-23.

Any Vietnamese team that ranks among the Top 40 will receive a prize of VND50 million provided by the FPT Group.

The group will also present 4 computers worth VND7 million each to four winners in the regional contest and a laptop worth VND20 million to the winner of the 17^th Vietnamese information technology (IT) students’ competition, which will be organised by the Vietnam IT Association to take place concurrently with the ICPC Asia regional contest.
