Vietnam’s best bartender, Phan Tien Tiep, will represent the country in the final round of the World Class 2012-Raising the Bar competition in Brazil on July 8-12.
He will compete against 50 bartenders from around the world.
Tiep was born in 1988 and masters his skills at Sofitel Metropole Hotel, Hanoi. He won first prize at a national competition held in Nha Trang city on June 12-14.
Despite his young age, Tiep has six years’ experience in his career. He has proven his exceptional skills in creating the Joan Baez cocktail, which has a special taste of pho (rice noodle).
