Contestants are aged between 18-27, unmarried and at least 1.6 m tall. All overseas contestants should be able to speak Vietnamese fluently. They will show off beauty and charm in three costumes, including Ao Dai (traditional long dress), bikinis and evening dresses.

Semi-finals will take place in various locations across the globe including North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia from mid-July to mid-August. The final will be hosted on Hon Tre Island, central coastal Khanh Hoa province on September 1.

Winners of any other beauty contests both inside and outside Vietnam in the last two years will automatically be put on the short-list.
