The exhibits, some of which are as old as the turn of the 20^th century, have been sourced from the National Library and other coordinating organisations.

Le Phuoc Dung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Publishing Association, said that the exhibits are precious documents which legally affirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over its seas and islands.

The exhibition, entitled “Halong Bay and Islands-Seas of Vietnam”, will last until September 10.
