The contest this year is quite different from others in previous years which just took place in Japan. Miss International 2008 will be organised in multiple venues including Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto in Japan, Hong Kong and Macau (China).

Beauty Cao Thuy Duong was listed in the top ten for Miss Vietnam 2006 and won Miss Talent in the Miss Sport Vietnam 2007 contest. During the next contest, Ms. Thuy Duong will join 67 other contestants from around the world in a sightseeing tour of Japan, Hong Kong and Macau (China).

Miss International is one of the five largest beauty pageants in the world. Contestants are expected to serve as Ambassadors of Peace and Beauty by showing tenderness, benevolence, friendship, intelligence, ability to take action and most importantly, a great international sensibility.

The ultimate goal of the Miss International beauty pageant is to promote world peace, goodwill and understanding.
