It aims to discover, train and upgrade football skills for Vietnamese children. All trainers are from Barcelona FC and two classes will be held, with the participation of 300 trainees.
Marce Xavi said the short training course will provide trainees with a philosophy to apply to Vietnamese football.
The three-year programme is expected to attract a large number of students from 6-14 years of age.
Apart from studying football skills, the trainees will have the chance to play and exchange with participants from other courses in the country, as well as in Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, said Nguyen Lan Trung, VFF Vice President and Director of the programme.
The programme may also lead to the discovery of talented players for Vietnam’s football team.
