• Tien Minh fails in Yonex Open Japan tournament 

One hundred and ten athletes from 19 cities and provinces across the country are participating in the event, including No.14 world ranked Nguyen Tien Minh from Ho Chi Minh City and 17 masters such as Nguyen Hoang Nam (Hanoi), Nguyen Hoang Hai (the Army) and Vu Thi Thu Trang (Bac Giang).

The players will compete in both men's and women's singles and team events at the tournament, which will last through September 28.
