Famous works drawn by Austrian painter Gustav Klimt will be showcased in the National Library of Vietnam on 31 Trang Thi street, Hanoi, from June 15.
Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) was an Austrian-born symbolist painter. His major works include paintings, murals, sketches, and other art forms.
He lived alongside well-known Austrian contemporaries such as Sigmund Freud, Gustav Mahier and Arnold Schonberg.
The exhibition commemorates the 150 years since Klimt’s death and the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Austria diplomatic ties. It will run until June 24.
