Under the theme “On Duty/Off Duty”, the latest fashion collection of Australian designer Simmone Fairhead, who is living and working in Vietnam, is expected to provide both Vietnamese and foreign women with a varied selection of summer clothes.

Ms Fairhead, who is also Prieure Vietnam Ltd. Director, says that she will use real customers as models to emphasize that her clothing is for women of all shapes and sizes.

When women are “on duty”, they can choose from a wide range of hip modern clothing featuring tailored summer dresses, skirt suits, and layered tops and trousers in a simple style. And when they are “off duty”, they will be offered comfortable and glamorous clothing made from soft silks or cool, natural cottons.

Founded in 2006, Prieure Vietnam Ltd has succeeded in establishing a chain of prestigious fashion shops in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the port city of Hai Phong.

The company has developed two brands, Things of substance and Contraband, respectively focusing on foreign women living in or traveling to Vietnam and young, modern and active Vietnamese women.

The “On Duty/Off Duty” Summer 2008 Fashion soiree will open at Hanoi Cinemetheque, 22A Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi at 6.30 pm on May 24. Entrance will be free with a great selection of wines from Red Apron to be available by the glass./.
