On the occasion, the Vietnam Women’s Union branch screened films on Vietnam’s land, people and cultural heritages. Many other club members who used to study and work in Vietnam expressed their admiration of Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements and acknowledged the country as an example in national defence and construction.

This year, the club organised a number of activities such as providing aid to tsunami victims, and holding cultural, cuisine and sports exchanges, thereby helping to strengthen mutual understanding and solidarity among ASEAN-member countries.
