ASEAN Film festival opens in New Zealand
(VOV) -The Embassies of Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand have jointly organized the ASEAN Film Festival 2015 in Wellington, New Zealand to celebrate their culture, land and peoples.
In his address, the Vietnamese Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Viet Dung, Head of the ASEAN Committee in Wellington said the event is designed to help local people and foreign friends better understand ASEAN and its roadmap toward establishing a shared community by the end of this year.
Dung said the festival would contribute to reinforcing solidarity between ASEAN people in New Zealand.
The festival is transpiring at the Te Papa National Museum in Wellington.
