The event is part of activities held to mark the 90^th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution.

At the seminar, researchers highlighted the positive effects of the Russian October Revolution on the literature and art in the former USSR, including the theatrical arts.

The influence was then pervaded to Vietnam, helping to boost the development of the Vietnamese theatrical arts in the second half of the 20^th century.

The event drew many theatrical researchers, experts, directors and managers, who had been trained at renowned universities in Russia.
