Artistic photo festival to be held in northern and central provinces

The 2007 Artistic Photo Festival will be held in June in central Thua Thien-Hue province with the participation of professional and amateur photographers from the 6 northern and central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue.

The artistic photographs at the contest will feature aspects of daily life in traditional craft villagers in the north and central regions, and portraits of labourers and artisans.

Each photographer can send a maximum of 5 pieces taken in 2006-2007, to the Thua Thien-Hue Arts and Literature Association before April 30.

The festival will officially open on June 7, 2007.
