The PSA came up with the 2008 “Who’s Who in Photography” list by counting artists’ wins in photo contests held in more than 40 countries during the year.
Linh was first in the “small monochrome” and second to American William Friedman in the “small colour” categories (20x30cm), with 52 wins and exhibits in both.
He won in 2005 in the small monochrome category but his success in the colour category is the first for any Vietnamese photographer.
With more than 330 international awards, 13 titles conferred by various photographic societies, and 21 pictures being exhibited permanently a record no other compatriot can match.
By far this year, he has bagged over 10 international awards and has sat in the jury of several photo contests.
