The programme, with the participation of ambassadors and chief representatives ASEAN mission and ASEAN dialogue partners was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem and his wife.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung delivered a keynote speech broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Radio the Voice of Vietnam.

The art performance included items featuring the distinctive cultural identities of all ASEAN member countries.
