Artists from different regions in the central Quang Nam province performed extracts from folk festivals of such ethnic groups as Kinh, Cham and Katu, leading visitors through a mysterious atmosphere of ancient towers.

Visitors also had opportunities to see unique brocade and ceramic products by Cham artisans. This was the first time the My Son relics welcomed visitors at night.

The festival was held under the framework of National Tourism Year 2006 "Quang Nam, two World Heritage Sites at one destination". It was co-organised by the Quang Nam Tourism Department and the People’s Committee of Duy Xuyen district.

According to the organising board of National Tourism Year 2006, Quang Nam province may welcome two million visitors this year.
