Experts from the northern province of Quang Ninh's Archaeology Institute and the Culture and Information Department have discovered an ancient tomb at Yen Tu relic, Uong Bi district.

The arch brick tomb, located about 0.5 m below the relic, is 1.7 m wide and 6m long and is believed to date from the Han dynasty in the 5th or 6th century.

Many pottery and china artifacts such as bowls, plates, jars and pots were also found inside and around the ancient tomb.

Experts are carrying out further excavation to study the tomb's structure and construction steps.
