A bronze drum believed to date back to the 10th century has been found in the Thu Bon River in central Quang Nam province, announced the Culture and Information Office of Duy Xuyen district on April 3.

The drum, whose diameter is 80 cm, was fished by a villager in Duy Tan commune. It had lain 12 m deep at the bottom of Thu Bon River.
