Many officials and people from the US city of San Francisco have visited the display area for Vietnamese cultural space after Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong officially opened the ‘Meet Vietnam’ exchange programme in the city on November 16.

Many guests to the display area inside the City Hall remarked that the cultural space is so impressive, diverse, informative and rich in national identities.

The space comprises Vietnam’s distinctive art works, books on its renovation achievements, and latest photos of contemporary life in the country. It also exhibits Vietnam’s traditional musical instruments and features its art of water puppetry and music performance.

Judith Hughes Day, a woman whose hobby is to collect Vietnam’s art works, said that Meet Vietnam is a marvelous event that helps her enjoy picturesque works.

Ehihu Harris, a college rector, who has visited Vietnam for many times said the Vietnamese cultural space provides a great opportunity for introducing the country’s business climate, cultural identities and educational system.
